Drunk Elephant Travel Skincare

My Travel Skincare: Drunk Elephant Littles

When I travel, I still want to keep up with my skincare. The inconsistency of planes, hotels, and trains can really do a number on your skin. It’s important to me that I take care of my skin whether I’m at home or out of the country. Travel skincare needs to be small, effective, and simple to use.

Enter the Drunk Elephant Littles, my new best friends. These little lifesavers retail for $100 at Sephora in Canada, with a $130 value behind that price tag. If you’ve never heard of Drunk Elephant before, let me tell you a little bit about why I like their brand so much.

They have non-toxic, simple-minded skincare that works. I’ve used their serums before and had great results. They are a tad on the pricey side, but I feel like skincare is something I can justify spending money on. Your skin is the biggest organ in your body, and you should be taking care of it. When I splurged on their T.L.C Serum for my birthday, it lasted me months. I used it every night, and one pump would do my entire face. Over those months, I saw my acne scarring diminished and my skin a lot clearer. Even the texture of my skin was better, more even. It was truly one of the best skincare purchases I’ve ever made.

Now, on to why this set is my new travel companion.

Drunk Elephant Littles Travel Makeup
(L-R: La La Retro Whipped Cream, Juju Bar, Peekee Bar, Marula Oil, TLC Framboos Serum, B-Hydra, C-Firma Serum)

This set comes with everything you need for travel skincare. You have a cleansing bar, an exfoliating bar, day & night serums, and your moisturizers. The sizes are perfect for packing away (it even comes with a small travel bag to keep them in!)

I hate having to try to find travel containers for my skincare when I travel, because sometimes they leak, or they aren’t the right size. With these products, especially the Vitamin C Serum, they need to be in air-tight, opaque packaging to keep the integrity of their contents. They won’t be messy, and they’re the perfect size. Thank goodness.

Honestly, the convenience of this kit is what sold me. I don’t have to root around trying to find travel sizes of different skincare, I don’t have to package my own, and it’s all in one convenient little box already. It’s a good deal for the quality of the products that you get.

So if you’re looking for a good little kit to grab before you go somewhere, put this on your list. There are lots of skincare kits on the market, but this is the most comprehensive one I’ve found so far. It just feels good to know that I don’t have to worry about my skincare, because once I take it out of the box, I’m already packed.
